The AREX 5 digital stirring hot plates are designed for temperature-sensitive laboratory applications where precise sample thermoregulation is required for maximum reproducibility. The units are safe to use. A "hot" message is displayed on the unit when the temperature of the plate goes above 50 °C and heating function is not active.
Internal electronic parts are protected by the insulated disk and die-cast aluminum housing. The easy-to-read digital display allows you to clearly read the values shown while monitoring the temperature and stirring speed. The 135 mm diameter CerAlTop„¢ aluminum alloy heating top plate ensures temperature homogeneity and optimum heat distribution across the entire surface. The plate is resistant to thermal stress and shock.
A special ceramic coating ensures high resistance to chemical agents and surface abrasion. The magnetic coupling supports reactions with multiple vials ensuring constant speed in all positions. The powerful brushless motor can stir up to 20 liters from 50 to 1500 rpm.
SpeedServo torque compensation technology ensures you constant speed as viscosity changes. Some models are available with an external PT100 temperature probe or VTF temperature controller which can heat up the medium up to 300 °C with an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C.
