The Cole-Parmer® FD 600 benchtop freeze dryer is a versatile tray freeze dryer designed for both new and experienced users who demand reliability, flexibility, and ease of use. Its all-in-one process freezes and dries samples within a single system, eliminating the risks of ice crystal damage and product thawing associated with external freezing and sample transfer. With AutoDry mode, the FD 600 continuously monitors process conditions using an adaptive algorithm, adjusting parameters in real time and automatically stopping the cycle at the optimal endpoint for consistent, reproducible results. For users who prefer full control, the FD 600 also offers manual operation, vacuum oven mode, and an intuitive touchscreen interface with 12 programmable, nameable recipes€”six preloaded for common applications. Five electrically heated shelves and stainless steel trays are included as standard, supporting an ice capacity of up to 8 kg and removal of up to 4 kg per 24 hours. Designed for modern laboratories, the FD 600 features power recovery protection, energy-efficient components, and an ozone-friendly natural refrigerant, delivering lower operating costs and a reduced environmental footprint.
