The Vacuubrand BioChem VacuuCenter BVC basic is a fluid aspiration system designed for connection to an existing external vacuum source, such as a diaphragm pump or a vacuum network (e.g., VACUU·LAN), and does not require electric power. Its chemical-resistant mechanical vacuum controller ensures optimal working vacuum, opening only when needed to limit the gas load on the vacuum source and minimize evaporation of collected liquids. The integrated inlet tubing in the bottle head reduces aerosol and foam formation, prolonging the service life of the hydrophobic protection filter. The system is available as BVC basic with a 4 L polypropylene collection bottle or as BVC basic G with a 2 L coated borosilicate glass bottle.
