PFA wetted parts and PVDF nuts provide high purity and excellent chemical resistance. Leak-free design withstands pressures to 225 psi. Ideal for high-vibration or side-load stressed applications. Low dead volume reduces particle entrapment, limits bacterial growth in deionized water, and simplifies rinsing.
PFA has a low coefficient of friction and therefore does not form a tight seal with standard gripper fittings. Flare fittings are a great alternative to gripper fittings in critical applications. To install flare fittings you slide the flare nut on to a piece of PFA tubing, the tubing is then heated using a heat gun and then a flaring tool is inserted in the tubing to create the flare. The flared end of the tubing is then inserted into the body of the fitting and the nut tightened down on the flare.
