The GUNT HM 500.10 - Paddle Wheel Flow Meter is designed for installation in the water circuit of the HM 500 trainer. It operates based on the angular rotation of a vane impeller, driven by the kinetic energy of the flowing water. The rotational frequency of the paddle wheel is proportional to the flow rate and is detected by a ring magnet. A Hall sensor converts this into an analogue voltage signal corresponding to the fluid flow rate.
