The GUNT Modular Test Stand measures the power output of internal combustion engines delivering up to 3kW. The complete test stand consists of three main elements: the CT 159 for mounting the engine and as a control unit, the universal drive and brake unit HM 365 as a load unit, and a choice of engines: four-stroke diesel engine (CT 151), two-stroke petrol engine (CT 153), or four-stroke petrol engine (CT 150).
Product Features
- CT 159 mounts the engine, supplies fuel and air, and records and displays relevant measurement data
- Engine mounted on a vibration-insulated base plate and connected via belt drive to HM 365
- HM 365 load unit initially starts the engine, then acts as a brake to apply load
- Lower section of the mobile frame houses fuel tanks and a stabilisation tank for intake air
- Vibration-dampened switch cabinet with digital displays for exhaust gas, fuel and intake air temperatures, and air consumption
- Speed and torque adjusted and displayed on HM 365 load unit
- Measured values transmitted directly to PC via USB with included data acquisition software
Benefits
- Modular design supports multiple engine types for flexible experimentation
- Accurate measurement and control of engine performance parameters
- Robust vibration insulation for smooth and reliable operation
- Data logging and analysis facilitated via PC interface
