The Masterflex Barblock Ultra Secure Retainer for 1/2" Colder Couplings features an easy-to-install, three-piece locking mechanism that ensures the tubing and hose barb won’t disengage. Safe to use with pressures up to 140 psi or the tubing’s maximum pressure rating, it is an excellent alternative to securing tubing and hose barbs with cable ties—eliminating crimps and tube distortion. The BarbLock assembly provides uniform 360-degree radial crimping for a leak-free, durable seal. It consists of three pieces: the sleeve, collet, and barbed fitting. Installation involves sliding the sleeve and collet onto the tubing, inserting the barbed fitting, prelocking the sleeve and collet by pressing them together until a “click” is heard, sliding the sleeve and collet to the edge of the barbed fitting, and locking with the BarbLock tool. Once assembled, the BarbLock can only be unlocked with a dedicated removal tool.
