GUNT HM 170.31 - Pitot Tube

The GUNT HM 170.31 Pitot Tube is designed for use in the HM 170 wind tunnel to measure the total pressure in a flowing fluid. The unit consists of a small tube positioned in the flow with its opening facing the fluid stream. A wall bore in the measuring section serves as the static tube. The Pitot tube and static tube are connected to a differential pressure manometer, allowing direct reading of dynamic pressure and calculation of flow velocity. Pressure measurement can also be displayed using an inclined tube manometer (included with HM 170), differential pressure manometer HM 170.53, electronic pressure measurement HM 170.55, or system for data acquisition HM 170.60.
