DWK Life Sciences DURAN Filtration Apparatus is made of high-quality borosilicate glass, with all chemical contact surfaces made of PTFE. This allows the apparatus to filter virtually any chemical safely. The PTFE disc holder supports fritted glass discs of different porosities in addition to slit-sieve discs, enabling a wide range of filtration options including filter paper, membrane filters (47 mm), or glass filters. Available porosities range from 10µm to 160µm, allowing coarse, fine, and analytical filtration. The apparatus is also suitable for HPLC media filtration, bacterial contamination testing, residue analysis, and other laboratory filtration tasks.
