The Atago Salt Meter ES-421 is a precise digital device designed for measuring salt concentration in liquids, ranging from 0.00 to 10.0%. It employs a funnel-shaped conductivity sensor that requires only a small sample (approximately 1.0 mL), making it ideal for diluted solutions such as soy sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and pickle juice. The meter features improved durability with titanium electrodes and a sample stage made of SUS316L stainless steel. It also has a backlit display for easy reading and includes an offset function for calibration. Note that the NaCl calibration solution concentration has been updated from 2.84% to 2.50% compared to earlier models.
