- ON/OFF switch for continuous operation and built-in timer for up to 60 minutes
- Longer grinding time results in smaller final particle size
- Safety switch shuts off power when lid is open; overload switch prevents motor damage
- To minimize contamination, select grinding sets harder than the sample to be ground; grinding sets available in porcelain, corundum, agate, chrome steel, and stainless steel (ordered separately)
