Cole-Parmer McMillan S-110-4 Flowmeter for Gases, 40–200 mL/min, 1/8" OD Tube Connection

Cole-Parmer McMillan S-110-4 Flowmeter is designed for gas flow rates from 40 to 200 mL/min with a 1/8" OD tube connection. The output signal allows connection to a remote display, datalogger, or recorder for continuous monitoring. The 3-1/2 digit LCD provides direct flow rate readings, ideal for industrial, commercial, laboratory, or OEM applications.

Product Features

  • Direct flow rate readings via 3-1/2 digit LCD
  • Output signal for remote display, datalogger, or recorder
  • Compact design suitable for low-flow liquid and gas measurement
  • 0 to 5 VDC linear output provided simultaneously
  • Choose from Ryton PPS or brass flowmeters; Ryton offers economical alternative, brass suitable for high-pressure applications (up to 500 psi)
  • Compatible with transparent, low-viscosity liquids (below 10 cSt) and most gases
  • Wetted materials (Ryton flowmeters): glass-filled PPS, glass, stainless steel, sapphire, Viton, acetal
  • Wetted materials (Brass flowmeters): brass
  • Optional base plate 32709-90 for Ryton meters (except 32709-16) to stand independently
  • Power via AC adapter or rechargeable battery kit (battery kit provides up to 20 hours portability)

How They Work

Each flowmeter uses a Pelton-type turbine wheel and photodiodes to generate an electrical signal proportional to flow rate. The rotation rate of the turbine wheel is linear over a wide range. Flow rates for gases are given for air at 760 mm Hg and 23°C; flow rates for liquids are given for water at 23°C.

Benefits

  • Compact, accurate flow measurement for gases and low-viscosity liquids
  • Simultaneous visual reading and electrical output for flexible monitoring
  • Durable construction for industrial and laboratory environments
  • Choice of materials suitable for high-pressure or economical applications
