The CEM MultiPep 1™ system (formerly ResPep SLi) is an automated multiple peptide synthesizer that utilizes a pipetting robot, managed by dedicated Windows-based software. Designed for flexible synthesis on resin, it supports scales from 1–250 µmol, depending on the synthesis module used. The system is also capable of automated membrane-bound peptide array synthesis. Optimized for Fmoc-based peptide synthesis using HBTU/NMM activation (or similar protocols), it features a single-probe delivery system that picks up and distributes reagents across wells. Amino acids are activated in individual mixing vials before distribution, and reagents are held in place by surface tension, with vacuum-assisted extraction handled via the included pump. MultiPep 1™ is supplied with a PC and user-friendly software interface for streamlined control.
