The CEM MultiPep 1™ system (formerly ResPep SLi) is an automated multiple peptide synthesizer based on a pipetting robot controlled by dedicated Windows-based software. It supports synthesis scales from 1–250 µmol on resin, depending on the synthesis module used. The system also enables automated synthesis of membrane-bound peptide arrays. Optimized for Fmoc-based peptide synthesis with HBTU/NMM activation, the MultiPep 1™ uses a single probe to pick up and distribute reagents into the wells of the reaction module. Reagents are held in place by surface tension and removed via vacuum, using an included pump. The system is delivered complete with software and a PC for smooth setup and operation.
