The flowing medium meets a baffle plate that is linked to a pointer by a lever mechanism. A spring provides the counterforce. The lever mechanism, spring and scale are matched such that the pointer indicates the actual flow rate in litres per minute. The necessary connections are provided so that the pressure loss can be determined with the HM 500.
