Use these high-quality PVC-free fittings in biomedical research, pharmaceutical, electronic, and other critical-use applications. Quickly and easily transition from soft tubing to a system that accepts a threaded connection using threaded barb adapters. Threads provide a tight and secure connection; a single barb on the other end of the fitting creates a tight seal to keep the tubing in place. An anti-rotation device on the hose barb prevents tubing from rotating, minimizing kinks. These medical nylon fittings are made from the same resin as natural nylon but with FDA-compliant white coloring. They offer good tensile strength, stiffness, and impact resistance and are resistant to fuels and lubricants. Not recommended for use with phenols, strong acids, and oxidizing agents.
