Add-on option for the MARS 6
The MARS 6 Extraction Option is a required option for performing solvent extraction methodologies in the MARS 6. A solvent sensor assembly is installed in the exhaust line to detect any solvent emission vapors present in the instrument cavity during operation. The method will be halted with a solvent alarm notification if vapors are detected. This extremely sensitive sensor is calibrated to a known volume of solvent vapor and operates regardless of vessel type or methodology when activated. The sensor can easily be removed in circumstances where acid digestion methodology is performed.
