- Single-use disposable pump head reduces risk of contamination
- Bayonet socket design makes exchanging pump heads quick and easy
- Absence of narrow gaps between impeller and pump casing eliminates bacteria buildup
The pumps are specially designed with no bearings to wear out or seals to break. The pump€™s impeller is magnetically coupled and suspended, contact-free inside sealed casing. The continuous flow rate and pressure are controlled by electronically regulating the rpm, keeping pulsation to a minimum.
The impeller and housing are made from a biocompatible (FDA, USP Class VI, BSE/TSE and Animal free) polypropylene material that can be gamma irradiated. Pumps are available with either a Tri-Clamp® or barb fitting single-use pump head which can be inserted and removed easily with a bayonet socket.
Four of the kits (72072-10, 72072-12, 72072-14, and 72072-16) include the PuraLev LCO-i100 touch screen console which integrates the pumps with ultrasonic flow sensors. The console features an embedded PC with a 7-in. multi-touch screen and comes with software for flow control, configuration, and monitoring of various sensors. The console can be place on a table or mounted on a wall. The advanced kits (72072-12 and 72072-16) also include the LEVIFLOW® clamp-on flow sensors.
