The GUNT HM 500.14 - Turbine Wheel Flow Meter is designed for use in the water circuit of the HM 500 trainer. It measures flow rate based on the principle of quantity measurement, where a freely mounted turbine wheel rotates in response to the flow. The rotational speed of the turbine wheel has a linear relationship with flow velocity, ensuring proportionality between speed and flow rate within a defined measuring range. The turbine wheel’s rotational speed is recorded inductively, enabling precise calculation of both flow velocity and flow rate. The measured value is displayed clearly on a digital indicator. Connections are provided to determine the associated pressure loss using the HM 500 system.
