If I choose L/S 16 tubing for the pump and set the speed control to turn 1, how much rpm does it equal to? How to calculate the flow rates?

We are wanting to damp out the pulsations using two tubes with Y connectors and offset heads. Do we have to buy two pump heads or is there a special offset pump head available as mentioned in the Fluid Dynamics FAQ.
Answer
When two Easy Load pump heads are stacked, the rotors are 60 deg out of phase between the two heads, which generates a pulse every 60 deg versus every 120 deg as from a single head. The double-Y tubing sets take advantage of this design feature. The easiest and least expensive solution is to use the pulse dampener 07596-20, which eliminates up to 90% of the pulsation. A third alternative is to use a multi-channel head with 6 or 8 rollers, Y tubing (either premade or assembled) with either large or small cartridges. The cartridges are designed such that the point of maximum tubing compression is before TDC of the rotation; if two carts are used with one reversed, then the two points of max compression will be out of phase by 1/2 the angle between rotors, thus causing a reduction in pulsation when the two tubes rejoin on the outlet of the pump.
