Air Release Properties

The NEW Seta Automatic Apparatus is designed to determine the air release properties of hydrocarbon based oils in accordance with ASTM, IP and other methods. The apparatus is a benchtop instrument with integrated density balance, heater, temperature control system, pressure regulation and microprocessor based control system. A unique slider arrangement allows easy positioning of the sinker and movement throughout the test cycle.

Principles of Operation

The ARV incorporates a multi-station platform which allows the test sample to be moved easily between density and aeration tests in a temperature controlled mode without the need to disassemble heated glassware components. Automatic timing and regulated aeration ensure that density stability is repeatedly achieved without the need
for operator input.
