A composite of ePTFE (expanded PTFE) and Viton, the unique structure of Style 400 tubing ensures stable flow rates with virtually no spallation while maintaining structural integrity against compression in pumping or solenoid valves. The component materials ensure superior chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols (including methanol), water/steam, and concentrated acids.

Style 400 tubing can operate continuously at 60 psi or at 100 psi intermittently and is usable at temperatures from 32 to 390° F (0 to 200° C).
