PIPETMAN® L is the latest innovation of Gilson based on ergonomics, comfort, and traceability reseach. This new mechanical pipette combines the PIPETMAN Classic™ legendary robustness, a newly designed body, and state-of-the-art mechanism.
PIPETMAN L has THE lowest pipetting forces on the market and offers the superior comfort you require for your applications. PIPETMAN L is available in 8 single channel models from 2µl to 10ml, covering the volume range of 0.2µl to 10ml.
With the PIPETMAN L, you can now enjoy an extremely lightweight pipette, that has been designed to fit naturally in your hand. It's new shape ensures a perfect fit while the new hook reduces tensions while holding it.
An adjustable tip ejector button has also been implemented to adapt to both right- and left-handed users. its shape provides intuitive and comfortable handling of the pipette, whatever the size of your hand.

PIPETMAN L is an adjustable volume pipette that features a Gilson patented volume locking system. The operating rod is fully disconnected from the counter assembly during pipetting phases so once locked into place, the volume cannot be accidentally changed. This GLP feature, among other features, meets the current needs of intensive pipette users who desire accuracy and precision without sacrificing comfort.

PIPETMAN L features a 2D identification code for easy traceability. This tracking feature includes the product reference, date of manufacture, the serial number, and the nominal volume.
With a universal scanner, you can download pipette information onto an excel sheet or onto your own software for tracking purposes.
To help give you peace-of-mind, Gilson has added convenient GLP features to PIPETMAN L so you can focus on what's really important...your work.
Additional GLP features include:

Gilson's standards are even more stringent than those required by governing bodies: On average, PIPETMAN permissible errors are 2 times better than those recommended by ISO 8655!
Our pipette manufacturing plant has its own accredited calibration laboratory to control the accuracy and precision of each and every Gilson pipette. Gilson pipettes are individually calibrated and delivered with a performance check report. Each pipette bears an engraved identification number for traceability.
Decontamination & Autoclaving
Your pipette could be contaminated accidentally. The most frequently contaminated pipette parts are the tip-ejector and tip-holder.
For this reason, each and every Gilson PIPETMAN has autoclavable lower parts.
Tip-ejector, tip-holder and connecting nut can be sterilised in the laboratory under the following conditions: Moist heat/121°C/20 minutes/1 bar.

Gilson believe that the quality of their pipettes must be matched by the quality of their service. That is why John Morris Scientific operate a Gilson-authorised service centre. This repair and calibration centre duplicates the conditions of Gilson's own factory, with controlled environments and regular inspections. Qualified technicians at our centre, having completed extensive training by Gilson, are specialists in the repair, calibration, and operation of Gilson products.
