Andre Wyzenbeek
Managing Director

There are rumours Andre spent his childhood calibrating pipettes and packing boxes for customers in our store. Andre has a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Marketing and Media Production. He has run graphic design, marketing, a successful territory, 5 major brands as well as the Sales Department.

After a lifetime of experience in Technology and Science, Andre enjoys a broad overview on almost every brand we sell. Andre is also the Third Generation of the Wyzenbeek family to run John Morris and, secretly one day hopes his children will share his passion.

Jeff Tyson
General Manager/CFO

With an MBA from UTS, Jeff is our fearless CFO and General Manager. Prior to joining our team in 2009 Jeff has enjoyed business steering positions in a range of industries including retail, insurance, Superannuation and construction.

Jeff has a passion for efficiency and output and loves nothing better than spending his Saturdays watching his daughter learning ballet.

Kieran Pickles
Head of Sales

Kieran has over 10 years’ experience working in/with the scientific, test & measurement industry across a range of diverse and challenging roles. Currently half way through his MBA, Kieran brings a wealth of new insights to our business and the market. His focus on driving customer centricity across the sales force and greater business operations, as well as engaging in the facilitation of new leadership principles ensures we maintain our continuous improvement goals as well as our mission to Define, Design, Deliver, Delight.

There are rumours Kieran occasionally finds a spare minute to enjoy his passion for landscape photography.

John Shannahan
Product Strategy Manager

John earned first class Honours in Microbiology from UWA and then gained extensive hands-on laboratory experience in a number of hospitals. Most senior laboratory appointment was as assistant chief scientist at Royal Perth Hospital.

Inspired to make a change from the laboratory into a commercial environment, John moved to BD as the state manager for WA & NT. John was promoted within BD to the position of national technical specialist and then national sales manager. After completing a Master’s degree in Management at Macquarie Graduate School of Management, he then moved to Crown Scientific finally holding the title of general manager.

Commencing with John Morris in 2011, John managed the field sales team for four years before taking on the role of operations manager focusing on the implementation of a new ERP (Infor SyteLine) and an ISO9001:2015 compliant quality management system.

Gabriel Antoun
Service Manager

Gabriel joined John Morris in 2019 to help us evolve our service department into a centre for excellence. Utilising his extensive experience at Qantas as an airline engineer and his recent appointment as service manager in the heavy equipment industry, Gabriel is driving a level of customer focus for our service department never experienced before.

Gabriel is a family man through and through, and loves nothing more than watching his sons play football on weekends.

Brett Hardaker
Logistics Manager

Brett has extensive experience in inventory management, internal sales and all facets of purchasing and logistics. After 35 years at John Morris and the many tens of thousands of parcels we ship each year, Brett has been instrumental in aiding more scientific research than any other member of the team.

If the laws of logistics allow it, Brett can find a way to achieve it!

Alan Moon
IT Manager

Alan has over 15 years’ experience installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks. Alan brings experience from a diverse background including servicing professional firms, manufacturers and government departments. Alan also loves left field challenges.

With a love of Pythons (it’s true, I swear!) Alan also moonlights as a guest writer for various motor cycle magazines.

Jessica Rawson
Operations Manager

Jessica recently joined the management team as the Operations Manager, overseeing all special projects and processes of the business. She began her journey with the company in 2015 as an Internal Sales Specialist, bringing experience in Sales, Customer Service & Management. Throughout her time with the company she has developed a keen eye for quality procedures, processes and ‘making it easy’ for you to work with us. “I truly love the family like spirit and atmosphere at John Morris Group, I’ve never worked with a company that has such a passion for growth and technology.”

Steve Thompson
Head of Marketing

Steve has extensive B2B/B2C marketing, customer segmentation and communications experience (both strategic and tactical). His skills have been gained across biotechnology, ICT, education and financial services industry sectors (with both national and international organisations). With qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration and Advertising, Steve’s focus is to grow sales volume and enhance customer relationships.

Steve has a love of water sports including swimming, surfing and surf life savings.
