Vibration Test Controllers

In shaker vibration testing, the device-under-test (DUT) is rigidly mounted to the table of an electrodynamic (or hydraulic) shaker. A closed loop control system causes a test object to experience a prescribed vibratory motion of sinusoidal, random or transient form (or a combination of these). How well this is done is determined by the controller’s hardware, firmware and architecture. How simply and elegantly it is accomplished is determined by the system’s software.
